Ralph Schomp MINI - Great Experience!!!

I came in to look at a Mini Countryman. I've been researching for the last 6 month and came down to a Subaru or a Mini. Four wheel drive is a must!!! I drove a Subaru first and it seemed ok, kind like my mom's car. Then came into Schomp Mini. Chad greeted me in the showroom. It was actually very nice not to have a salesperson outside waiting for me to get out of my car. I sat down with Chad and went over the features that I wanted. They had a car that was very close to what I built on-line. We drove the car and WOW!!! What a fun car!!! I was sold, but I didn't want to show it...you know how dealers are. I asked Chad for their bottom line price, so Chad explained how they are so "different" and that they are a One Price/Best Price store. First I thought "Great, he will ask me to pay sticker". To my surprise, he takes out his price sheet and the discount are not what I expected at all. From my research I expected to get couple of hundred dollars off and that was it. The discount was a lot better and they don't have a dealer & handling fee. So...I bought it and I love!!!! Thank you Chad and Schomp Mini. Best experience I have ever had buying a car. ★★★★★

Ralph Schomp BMW - Service Experience

Disappointed with the overall experience this time. Was told no loaners would be available when I made the appointment but on arriving at the dealership the adviser asked why we didnot ask for a loaner ( and there were more than one lined up). Should have been informed that there would be a cost for putting in Washer Fluid! Also the adviser ( Steven Constabl) should have let us know what services would be performed on the car ( there was a repair that was done ) prior to going ahead and performing the service. Have never dealt with this inefficiency at Ralph Schomp before. And to top it all it is a pity that the car is returned to the customer without a wash....all it should me was a total disregard for customer service. ★

Ralph Schomp MINI - Service Feedback

I love my Mini but am disappointed with the service at Ralph Schomp Mini. After a part broke on my Mini I called to schedule an appointment to get it fixed. The staff that answered the phone said that they had to check all the msgs before they could help me and would call me back. They never called me back. I called a day later to schedule an appt,; the earliest was 2 weeks out. When I came to my appt they took my car back and an hour later came out to tell me that the part was not in stock and they had to order it. I have been to the dealership in Loveland a couple times and had a great experience. even though Ralph Schomp is closer I will be taking my Mini to Loveland after these experiences. ★

The 2003 Jeep Liberty spurred many arguments in the enthusiast community, thanks to its independent front suspension and modern engine, but in the end, what matters is how well it performs on and off-road, and the answer to that is – excellent. Handling on pavement is not exceptional, but the Liberty won’t be left far behind its peers, either. Braking is good, and of course with four wheel drive on, accelerating in rain or snow is no problem. The optional all wheel drive is practical for everyday use, while the part time four wheel drive is good in snow, dirt, and heavy rain. A simple shifter makes changing modes easy.

The ride is well cushioned and smooth for a true off-roader, making major bumps disappear without totally smoothing out the ride or eliminating jouncing. The engine is well insulated, and though there is some wind noise, it is will controlled. The engine is a high revver, providing very good acceleration once it gets going – around 3,000 to 4,000 rpm. The five-speed automatic transmission makes very smooth downshifts, avoiding the lurching which is common when gear ratios are as far apart as they are with the Liberty.

The Liberty has simple controls that make a usable, attractive overall package. Bits of chrome here and there, consistent with the Jeep image, make the Liberty unusual without being flashy or overdone – no TT-style overkill. The instrument panel is readable with clear black on white gauges, reverse lit at night.

The stereo is easy to handle, with sliders for bass and treble, and easily controlled knobs for balance and fade. The sound is very good even on the Renegade’s base stereo. As with all fuel-injected Chryslers, one handy feature is the ability to view computer fault codes without a scanner. In brief, by moving the key back and forth, you can see what problems the computer has seen and stored in its memory.
